Meebox becomes part of Zitcom Group

Danish hosting group Zitcom Group has made a strategic acquisition of Meebox. As a result of the acquisition, Meebox, which also includes the Cloud.dk brand, changes management and will get access to more resources in order to deliver top-notch hosting and cloud solutions.

With the acquisition of Meebox, Zitcom Group has taken over Meebox and Cloud.dk that both provide hosting and cloud solutions for Danish small and medium-sized enterprises.  

The transaction means that Stefan Rosenlund, CEO of Zitcom Group, is now responsible for Meebox and Cloud.dk. Previous owners, Patrick Theander and Anders Eiler, will both continue in key positions in Zitcom Group, where they will be given the opportunity to further develop the Meebox and Cloud.dk brands.

We are extremely pleased to add Meebox and Cloud.dk to our portfolio of hosting companies. Zitcom Group has a clear ambition to grow the Danish hosting market to new heights, and we see Meebox and Cloud.dk as important parts of this mission. We are also happy to add Patrick and Anders to our skilled team. Together, I think we can do big things for Danish hosting in the future.

Meebox’ now former CEO, Patrick Theander, is also looking forward to the new cooperation.
